UniBeast 8: Copy of apfs.efi failed

Have been struggling on this for a while. I've tried the following...
1. sudo diskutil partitionDisk USB-Device GPT JHFS+ VOLUME-NAME R
2. make sure the USB drive is partitioned in GPT scheme.

Some information about my environment:
  1. UniBeast version: 8.3.2
  2. UniBeast choices:
    1. USB Drive
    2. High sierra
    3. UEFI Boot Mode
  3. USB Drive
    1. partition scheme: GPT
    2. size of the destination partition: 16GB
  4. System specifics where...

[SOLVED] UniBeast doesn't recognize Sierra

I downloaded Sierra on my old MacBook (running El Capitan).

I'm trying to create an install drive with UniBeast, and it doesn't recognize the downloaded Sierra installer at `/Users/me/Downloads/Install macOS Sierra.app`.

What could be the issue? I checked the UniBeast app contents, but couldn't find any configuration files to edit. The app seems very orthodox in it's wizard approach, it didn't accept installing on an external HDD instead of a USB stick. If I should just do the thing...

I'm trying to create a bootable USB Unibeast for Mojave but since i need Legacy Boot it fails at some point saying that the "copy of apfs.efi failed".

High,
I often could create Unibeast Stick for High Sierra but since now it hangs while install Clover:

Unibeast 10.0 failure on Catalina 10.15.3

This is just for info as I have now created a new USB Installer.

Unibeast fails, running on a real MacBook Pro, after updating Catalina to 10.15.3 and trying to create a new USB installer. It copies the Catalina Installer App fine but then just hangs at the Clover section.

Tried it multiple times on different USB drives without success.

The only way I got it to run successfully was by running it on another machine with Catalina 10.15.2 installed.

The Unibeast log file is below.

Hi guys,

I'm fairly new here. Hence this is my first post :-D
I run into issues with UniBeast. (tried this on 2 Macs - one fresh Mojave install, the other is on Catalina - the problem remains the same for both)

I run through the UniBeast menu. I select my USB drive to install onto. In the next screen you have to select your operating system. I unfortunately only can see a greyed out - non clickable icon. On one Mac its Mojave on my other one its Catalina. For both Macs I cannot overcome...

Hey Hackintosh friends!

I am having some trouble... I've tried searching through the threads using "Couldn't create USB installer"
I've read through the Unibeast troubleshoot notes: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unibeast-8-troubleshooting-notes.235489/
And still, I can't find a solution that works.

I've tried running the Unibeast install on two different MacBooks.
I've tried re-downloading the Catalina file from iTunes.
I've bought two new USB sticks. I've formatted, and...

Hello! I’d like to report a problem with UniBeast:

Unibeast version: 12.1

Unibeast choices: Catalina 10.15.4, UEFI

USB partition scheme: 16 gb flash drive, gpt

hardware as in profile, this was a working high Sierra hack that I am adding a gigabyte windforce oc radeon 5600xt to replace the older 1070 and am doing a clean install. For this troubleshooting I’m using a single 2560x1440 monitor connected via DisplayPort and have tried different ports on the card.

UniBeast cannot detect any drives

I've tried in UniBeast 9, 8, & 7. It will not detect any local or external drives. I get a message that it 'cannot find any HPS formatted drives'. I've tried formatting as MacOS Extended and APFS and neither work. This is occurring with both my desktop (10.12 Hackintosh) and my genuine MacBookPro 10.13.4 which is what I USED last time to create my Hackintosh.

UniBeast 8.3.1 Cannot create bootable USB drive

Hi!
Making the USB installer with Unibeast 8.3.1 hangs after copying files when it's installing the bootloader.
I have investigated the log and found out it said that the partition scheme of the destination disk is not correct.
I have erased my whole USB several times with both GPT and MBP scheme and the same error appeared.

Here is some info:
  1. UniBeast version: 8.3.1
  2. UniBeast choices: High sierra
  3. USB partition scheme, GPT or MBR and size of the destination partition: GPT...

How to get Unibeast for Windows 10 User

So I have spent quite some time on the forum now but there is nothing about Windows 10 users to be able to get UniBeast. I do not have any access to a Mac so it will be hard to do it. I know I can get one with gibMacOS but I would like to use Unibeast since it will be WAY easier than vanilla since this will be my first build. Or if someone can help me walk thru with vanilla or a good guide that will also help.
So do anyone knows how to get UniBeast for Windows 10 users?

  1. UniBeast version - 8.3.2 - My last post was locked for unsupported version. I noticed the notes on the download that says the displayed version is wrong. I am indeed using 8.3.2 which is the correct version for High Sierra as far as I know. I tried to send the moderator who locked my thread a message but I don't have a high enough post count yet.

Hi there! Having some issues w/ creating the bootable stick via UniBeast.

1. In the UniBeast log it says: Starting UniBeast 9.3.0-1
2. UniBeast choices: UEFI Boot Mode, No Optional Graphics Configuration
3. GPT
4. MacBook Pro (Retina 13-inch, early 2015), macOS Catalina 10.15.3 2,7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 8GB 1867 MHz DDR3
5. No Error Message it is just stuck at Installing Boot Loader

Unibeast Installer Bootloader never ends.

during the installation of unibeast when it comes to installing the bootloader it never ends, I use a macbook PRO to try to create the image on the USB stick, but I have read everything that talks about the basic errors of the bootloader and nothing helps.
