UniBeast Hangs During Clover Bootloader Installer - Catalina 15.15.5

Couldn't install Bootloader/ High Sierra

Hey all. I've been trying to sort this out for a couple months now (obviously not an expert hacker) I've gone through the troubleshooting and scoured the forums for similar issues. I've had stable builds running Yosemite, Mavericks, Sierra but High Sierra is giving me trouble.

Is there a problem because the OSX base system name and the name unibeast names the usb are the same? "Install macOS High Sierra"?

I'm trying to create this on my macbook and so far I've:
-Used multiple usb drives...

Unibeast Catalina Never ends

So I ran the newest unibeast distro for Catalina and it never seemed to finish. I ran it for a full 8 hours. The CPU usage never dipped and for all purposes it seemed as if it never stopped performing background tasks but when I've used unibeast in the past it has been at most an hour. This one just seems to keep in a loop.

Edit: Have tried on both a real Mac and using a virtual machine.

No Install macOS Clover Boot option - Unibeast Catalina 10.15.5

I download the 8.23GB Install macOS Catalina file on an authentic Mac with SIP/CSR confirmed disabled. Unibeast completes w/o errors. On my build system, Clover boots but there's no installer option. I deleted the .IAPhysicalMedia file and have the HFSPlus drivers in the Clover folder. Disabling USB 3.0 makes no difference.

This is the same USB drive and method I used to successfully get 10.15.4 going in the past: I started running into this once 10.5.5 was released. I do have the latest...

Hi, I am trying to install Mojave on my USB stick using UniBeast but when it gets to the screen to choose installers only my High Sierra installer appears in the window. Any ideas how to get my Mojave installer to appear here?

I am trying to create the Mojave OS install boot media from my early 2015 MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.5.

I am using UniBeast 9.3.0 to do this, and I keep getting this in the UniBeast.log file:

installer --- err --- couldn't install clover UEFI bootloader

Meanwhile UniBeast hangs on"Installing Clover Bootloader." I checked the troubleshooting thread, made sure that the USB drive is formatted to GUID, Mac OS Extended (Journaled). I deleted prior downloaded copies of Catalina and...

I tried UniBeast for the first time. It stalls on my mac about 1/5 of the way in while "Installing Clover Bootloader..." I've tried multiple times with the same result with multiple USB thumb drives from different manufacturers.

Unibeast 9.3.0. Installer Creating EFI USB For Legacy Mode Install Problem

Hi,

I am running into an issue trying to create a legacy boot mode installer usb drive for my dell optiplex 780 desktop which does not support EFI. What's happening is that it creates what looks looks like an EFI install drive and also a second object on the desktop called EFI.

I have attached a screenshot of my desktop after the unibeast process is completed. In the screenshot, the EFI object and the installer usb drive for Mojave are to the right of the opened contents of the 2 created...

I don't get any error message or so, it just won't continue.

Currently I'm using a 15'' MB-Pro from Mid2014 running Catalina 10.15.5, a 32GBit Stick (formatted in GUID) or a...

Unibeast does not start on Catalina MacBook Pro

Hi,

I try to update my wife's hp from Yosemite to Mojave.
I broke it, unfortunately, it does not boot at all, and now I try to create a bootable USB stick using my MacBook Pro (an original one).

I downloaded Unibeast 10.3 and 9.3 but none of them run - it "jumps" on the doc forever with only option to "Force quit".
I tried running it on the terminal (`~/Downloads/UniBeast 9.3.0.app/Contents/MacOS/UniBeast`), but it only runs forever.

Am I missing or doing anything wrong?

Thanks!

UniBeast Compatibility

Just tried using Unibeast 10.3.0 with Mac OS X 10.15.6 Catalina - - they're not compatible. This was tried on a Macbook Pro running 10.15.6.

Unibeast installation requires a HFI-partitioned removable disk....

...with at least 7GB free.

It seems like I have a USB disk formatted properly and is huge but Unibeast refuses to recognize it as such.

I know this has to be my fault somehow but I can't figure it out....

Help?

Hi,
Getting this error after trying to create unibeast installer. "couldn't create USB installer" see image below
I have tried following all the troubleshooting suggestions (the mojave installer was downloaded using the macOS Mojave Patcher tool as i am running snow leopard on an older mac and cannot run Git )

  1. UniBeast version 9.2.0
  2. UniBeast choices Mojave, UEFI, no graphics
  3. USB partition scheme, GPT or MBR and size of the destination partition. GUID and 18GB size...
