Heya, I'm trying to create a bootable USB drive with Unibeast 9.0, but after I confirm all of my settings it prompts me asking for an administrator password in order to create the bootable drive.

Thing is, the only Mac I have on hand is the laptop my school assigned me, so... I don't have the administrator password.

Is there any possible way to create a drive without this password? I don't know anyone who has a Mac besides classmates with school laptops as well, so I don't have any...

Hi all,

I am a Hackintosh rookie and trying to create the bootable USB for Mojave using UniBeast 9.0.0 on my macbook Air Mid 2012, which is currenlty running Mojave 10.14.2.

At first, while strictly following the guide, I failed to create the bootable USB and the following error continues to come up:

I already tried two different USBs, one is 16 GB and the other one is 32GB (both are usb 3.0). Yet, such an error still exists.
Then I continued to run the...

Creating an installer for OS X

Hello everyone,

I'd like to create a USB installer for Sierra or El Capitan. However, Mojave refuses to download the installer for older versions of OS X. Even if I download the installer from elsewhere and put the application in the Applications folder Mojave refuses to start the installation.

I'm not sure if it is due to this but in either way, I'm not able to create a bootable stick via Unibeast as there is either no installer or Unibeast recognizes the installer to be incomplete(?)...

Every time I try to create the bootable USB drive (and I have detached all external drives in Finder & Disk Utility), I receive the following error after it copies the files to the USB stick: "There was an error creating your UniBeast drive: Couldn't detach OS X Base System". As you can see from the figure below, there are 2 instances of "OS X Base System" that have been created during the creation of the USB drive.

Any fixes for this bug?

Hello,

So I want to clean install MacOS Mojave on another PC. I have attached my current system screenshot. I downloaded Mojave install from the app store (full: 6gb), and formatted USB drive using disk utilities (Mac OS Extended Journaled, GUID). on Unibeast after I selected things it gives me this error "there was error creating your unibeast drive: couldn't create usb installer".

I also used other ports as well no luck. Can someone help me? What is causing this problem?

Thanks.
